NordSAC Webinar – 16th of  September 12 AM CET
At this webinar, Anna Möller, senior consultant  in obstetrics and gynecology will present current research from the Emergency Clinic for Rape Victims at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm. Particular focus will be placed on non-fatal strangulation during sexual assaults, including current evidence on its prevalence, clinical and forensic significance, and possible reasons for its apparent increase.

The mission of NORDSAC is:

To be a Nordic platform for individual professionals from the Nordic + countries dedicated to the care and treatment of adolescent and adult survivors of sexual assault.

To promote and support basic and clinical research.

To work for improvements in the practice of care and treatment of victims of sexual assault, incl. development of common guidelines.

To promote education and training in care and treatment of victims of sexual assault.

To address, inform and advise stakeholders and policy makers.

To promote and support Nordic+ and international scientific and clinical exchange and friendship among professionals active in care and treatment of victims of sexual assault.
